Cedar Rapids Collegiate trap team sponsored by Linn County PF raffled off a cooler today at the 21 October Heroes Hunt. Congrats to Steve for winning the cooler at the 2018 Heroes Hunt.

In October 2018, the Linn County Pheasants Forever the had their largest ever Veteran's Hunt (titled Heroes Hunt). There were ~16 guides and expert bird dogs who guided these Veterans. We were fortunate to have demonstrations and special guests at the 2018 Heroes Hunt. Chefs David and Debbie from Kinetic Dog Food assisted by prepared two special Iowa recipes and there were bird cleaning demonstrations done on Facebook live. This was a great event and we are looking forward to our 2019 Heroes Hunt. Watch the @linncopf facebook page and the linncopf.org website events for details of this and other events.

The 2018 Hawkeye Area Boy Scouts of America Sporting Clays Classic took place on September 21. Pheasants Forever sponsored a team as well as Linn County PF board members and friends participated in this fundraising event. The BSA event took place near Riverside Iowa at the Highland Hunting Hideaway and was attended by over 40 registrants.
