Linn County PF Outreach and Adult Education with Rockwell Collins

On January 23, 2018, members of the Linn County PF board and the PF State President spoke at Rockwell Collins in Cedar Rapids about our organization, community outreach, habitat improvement projects and our upcoming banquet in March.

Rockwell Collins has a program for employees continued learning both for work and personal growth.  The Linn County Pheasants Forever, PF State President Mike Schmitz (and Rockwell Collins Quality employee), Emery Davis/ Farm Bill Wildlife Biologist (out of Linn County), Jeff Pitlik (State PF Board and past Linn County PF Board President), & Tina Elwood Gehrke (Linn County PF and Rockwell Collins Quality employee) gave a presentation to the Rockwell Collins Green Community of Practice members over lunch on January 23.  The CoP is for Rockwell Collins employees.  The group shared what Linn County PF has done over hte last 5 years for community improvements, and what our goals are for 2018.  If you are interested in learning more about Linn County PF, "Contact us" via our website link above.
