Local Landowner Forum boasts of high attendance

September 16, 2018 by

Thanks Linn County!! Linn County landowners forum was conducted on September 16 Sunday and there were over 250 attendees present. This event allowed attendees to learn more about adding nature to their land. The engaging presentations and interactive how-to sessions on subjects included subjects such as:
- Preparing land to plant a prairie
- Planting a pollinator prairie
- Improving woodland health and removing invasive species

Thanks to all who attended. If you were unable to attend and interested in learning more, please reach out to us.

This is the 3rd year for this event, the Linn Landowner Forum helps landowners introduce more nature to their land. Together we can restore and preserve 10,000 acres of natural land in Linn County. This land provides habitat and food for bees, butterflies and other pollinators, many of which have seen dramatic population decreases over the last decade. Adding native habitat to your land benefits insects and wildlife, improves water quality, reduces flooding and increases the value of your property.
